CrossFit

About a month ago Michael and I started personal training with a trainer at the Hercules Fitness Center. All we asked is that our workouts did not become repetitious or routine because that's when we get bored and quit. Our trainer, Bryan, informed us that he was a CrossFit trainer and that every workout would be different.
Little did we know that every workout would also be killer!
You see, CrossFit is a functionally intense workout, which means that you perform movements that you use in everyday life in high intensity. Many times it is using only our own body weight and other times we do crazy stuff like flipping giant tractor tires or throwing weighted balls in the air from a squatting position. And the best part is that the "intense" means that all the workouts are short, intense, and use multiple muscle groups, for around 15 to 20 minutes. It's awesome. You absolutely kill yourself and then spend the next few hours recovering.
Here's a short video of Michael working out with Bryan. First he is doing the "ball slam" with a 20lb ball. And then he is swinging a kettle ball above his head. Then he does weighted squats (not in the video) Those three exercise equal one round. And the object is to do as many rounds as you can in 20 minutes. So, DON"T STOP!!!!

The Vet Wrap Came!

Here's a couple of shots of JouJou on her feet. We have about 15 different colors!
This is her bumble bee look.

She has a lot of energy when the braces are on and padded well.

This one is a little blurry because that girl is on the move!

Here's a quick video I took of how she moves.
